Believe it or not, that image isn’t animated. Look closely.
(I checked; I even converted the original GIF to PNG to make sure it wasn’t really animated.)
This should make things a ton faster!
From WashingtonPost.com:
Dear Mr. Weingarten:
Can you think of anything you know now in your fifties that you wish you’d known in your twenties?
Thanks,
David Gratz, a longtime D.C. reader in his twenties…
(6) There is a reason that many young women are attracted to older men. It’s a trick we know. Once you know it, too, you will be able to combine the vigor of youth with the allure of age, and become a monster babe magnet for all those women formerly attracted to old guys like me.
(7) What, you thought I was going to reveal it? Don’t be an idiot.
Anyone with a keyboard can get “access” to the world´s most secure computers. At least that´s what these unrealistic hacker scenes tell us.
“He’s a militant who avoided any service of his own in the military and he has been most forceful in the last 10 years or more in fulfilling some of his more ancient commitments that the United States has a right to inject its power through military means in other parts of the world,” Carter told the BBC World News America in an interview to air later on Wednesday.
“You know he’s been a disaster for our country,” Carter said. “I think he’s been overly persuasive on President George Bush and quite often he’s prevailed.”
Muh. I’ve been way too busy with work related ruckus to focus on my photography hobby. I’d love to spend more time and get more involved, maybe find a group around town (Portland, OR), a local class, or just some sort of inspiration. Flickr has been great for this in the past, but I barely get any time to look through groups and comment anymore.
If anyone reading this has any suggestions, even just something as simple as a cool idea for a composition, I’d love to hear them. Thanks!
Nice.

The Nokia N95 and N75, among a few other Symbian 60 phones, use a Safari-based browser, and it appears that some apps built for the iPhone work on it. I don’t know if this is cool or rare, but the Nokia nerds sure think so. [ifono]

Rad.
e: I’d get a bunny if they weren’t so stupid.
me: They’re brilliant!
e: They chew extenstion cords!
me: So do you!
e: Yeah, but for me it’s a religious obligation.
me: What religion is that?
e: I’m not allowed to tell outsiders.
me: How do you know I’m not a member?
e: Obviously, you’d be chewing extension cords.
This guy is pretty fun to read, and he’s got some excellent musical
choices. This genre, in particular, uses Squarepusher (one of my
personal favorite artists since “Go Plastic” came out) as an example. I
could see Aphex Twin fitting in here too.
Experimental Jungle
aka Experimental, DrillNBass“This stuff is so fucked up, sometimes my head explodes when I listen to it. A cacophony of unique sounds, snares, rolls, and complicated drum patterns makes this one of those genres you have to acquire a taste for. It blurs a lot with IDM, so expect to see artists making ample amounts of both. The difference between the two? One sounds more fucked up than the other. It’s up to you, however, to figure out which one that is.”
