Found out a ton of information while stumbling ’round the net today and thought I’d save it for future reference.

Turns out that my Nokia N95 uses a Texas Instruments OMAP 2420 processor consisting of the following components:

Interestingly enough, that PowerVR Graphics Accelerator is also used in the iPhone, though in a different form, via the Samsung S5L8900 chipset.

I found all this out while looking up info on the development of the Sega Dreamcast, which also uses the PowerVR chipset.

So…feel free to ignore all of that if you like. I just find all of this personally fascinating. 🙂
